RESCUE DOGS
Rodney & Delboy
Click on the picture for a large one.		History of the two dogs, Rodney & Delboy. Both dogs came from the SPCA just over four years ago. We think they were about 18 months old when we took them home. They have both been used to outdoors living here in KZN even during our winter, but with plenty of blankets. They both love exercise and are great with young kids. My kids are both younger then 3yrs old, and if the dogs get pestered by them they move away when they have had enough. We live on a smallholding and the dogs have been great for security. King
Click on the picture for a large one.		He is 9 years old. Fit and healthy. Loves walks and particularly runs on the mountain, forest or beach. Is well socialized with other dogs and kids. He hasnt really had contact with cats, so not sure how he would react, but I suspect given a couple of days he would be fine. Spends most of his days outside, usually sleeps outside in his kennel, but we let him sleep inside during cold winters nights. His diet is usually dry pellets- at the moment Eukanuba (senior) , but we vary it occasionally. He is on no meds, and the only trips he has to Vet is vaccinations and the occasional sprain from running too hard. Contact: Paul Coleman +27 (0)21 6853600
Mackie & Tyra
Click on picture to see a large picture		Mackie was born in October 2006 and is a Boerbull x Labrador. I got him from a squatter camp in Magaliesberg. He is a very sweet dog. Loves to play ball and loves gallavanting in the car, if given half a chance. Mackie has not been neutered, but has had all his shots. Tyra is a beautiful Ridgeback and came along as an adoptee. She's fairly well behaved, but quite boisterous. She has been spayed and is still a young dog. She is afraid of lightning and thunder. Both of them sleep either outside or alongside my bed at night. They are NOT guard dogs and would be nice if they could go together. They are currently with me in Randpark near the golf course. I am renovating and want to move out while the workers finish the final touches, but will stay with them until they are housed. Ultimately, I intend to relocate to the UK, where my daughter is.
